Women Helping Women

The program, developed and launched by Past President Beth Shedden, is based on the concept that women are the best resources and supporters of other women.  A core group of women who already were registered in the Adult Literacy Program was formed, specifically to develop a bonded group, assisting each other overcome daily literacy obstacles, such as discussing health issues with physicians, attending parent-teacher conferences, and developing computer skills.
