 Girls Circle is a program conducted at the Matt Garcia PAL Center serving girls ages 12-18.  The program is a professionally facilitated, structured, weekly discussions that focuses on many themes important to the lives and issues facing young girls in our community.  Â
The goal of Girls Circle is to foster a sense of confidence and self-reliance among its participants. Â Organized around topical modules lasting 8-10 weeks, girls are guided through activities that help them focus their attention on relationships, attitudes, goals, hopes and fears. Â Some popular topics have been “Developing Positive Relationships,” “Body Image,” and “Friendships.”
